Get In Touch

When you want to make sure you’re trendy for the spring, there are a few fashion tips for you to follow. Designers are pulling from favorite trends of previous decades, allowing you to go bold in bright colors, plaids, and more. A few clothing styles should be considered as you prepare to stock your closet.

Bike Shorts

Bike shorts are tight fitting and fall just above the knee. The Zoe Report explains that while black is the most common color of traditional bike shorts, many designers are releasing them in neon colors, mixed patterns, and more. To go along with this trend, Bermuda shorts are also making a comeback. These are looser and fall just below the knee. This ensures that you can be stylish regardless of how short (or tight) you want your shorts to be.

Drawstring Dresses

Drawstring dresses are gaining a lot of popularity because it allows people to have a loose-flowing dress while still defining their waist. The drawstring sits at the waist, making it possible to loosen or tighten based on how you feel at the moment. E & O Apparel talks about one of the more top fashion items this year is the drawstring dress with a mermaid hem because of the frilly look at the bottom. The drawstring flairs out a bit like a mermaid tail, adding a soft, romantic look to any dress.

One-Shoulder Blouses

One-shoulder blouses allow one shoulder to be covered up while the other one is completely exposed. This is created by a cutout, not to be confused with an off-the-shoulder blouse. This new trend is a great way to stay cool through the warmer spring weather. Plus, one of these blouses can easily be paired with shorts, jeans, or a skirt.

Maxi Dresses

Maxi dresses have been in season for a number of years. FashionTrendWalk.com describes that these are dresses that are casual and reach the ankle. In most instances, they are sleeveless dresses, allowing you to show off your arms. You can also pair it with a cardigan or a bolero if you so desire. For spring, the new trend is a two-tone dress, such as light pink and dark pink or fuchsia and orange.

It’s a good idea to look through some of the hottest spring trends to see which ones appeal to you. From there, select a color or print that looks good on you. 2019 will bring back neon colors, pink plaids, and even tie-dye patterns.
