Booking a personal stylist or a personal shopper on My Shopping Date is free.
The only cost you will incur is the service fee set by the stylists or shoppers. We do encourage our stylists and shoppers to set a fair price for the services they offer.

Our website has been designed to help you find the service and personal stylist to best match your needs. To help you decide, visit the stylists’ and shoppers’ profile pages. Here, you can read their bios and see if previous users of My Shopping Date have recommended them.

You are free to reschedule or cancel your booking, just contact your expert to make the update. If you change or cancel two (2) days before your service you will be charged 50% of the amount of the service booked to compensate your personal stylist or personal shopper.

If you were disappointed with the services provided, we encourage you to contact the stylist or shopper directly and let them know. You can also rate the stylist or shopper’s performance with My Shopping Date’s simple thumbs-up or thumbsdown recommendation system.
If speaking to the stylist doesn’t resolve your issue, kindly contact us within 3 days of the service by filling out our contact form. Once your query is received within this timeframe, we will retain your payment until the issue is resolved. If an agreement
cannot be reached between you and your stylist or shopper, we will review the case and decide fairly to resolve as soon as possible.

Currently, My Shopping Date can only allow an individual booking. However, if you want to book for two or more persons, kindly contact us. We will be pleased to introduce you to a personal stylist who is able to look after a group.

Of course! However, if you book in advance, your stylist or shopper will have more time to review your profile and you therefore, can expect a better experience.

My Shopping Date takes banking-data protection very seriously. This is why we use Stripe, one of the world’s most secure payment platforms to give you peace of mind in every transaction you make.

Yes, feedback and user ratings are important to My Shopping Date. Feedback can be given by replying to the email we send after the service has been completed or via your dashboard. Your comment may be moderated to ensure that it is within the guideline of our Terms & Conditions.

Meeting a personal stylist in person, sharing thoughts and ideas on your coveted style, often gives the best outcome. However, there is no obligation to meet a stylist face-to-face. Depending on what you are looking for, online services may
also provide the right solution. It is why, at My Shopping Date, we also encourage stylists to give live video styling, online-shopping assistance or fashion-fix emails.
Personal shoppers can be more flexible as they can fill your requirement quite easily if you already have a list of items they can secure for you. You also have the option to shop with them and gain insights on the latest and greatest.

My Shopping Date is a unique platform that allows you to connect with clients who is looking to acquire your services, expertise and match their budget. Once you register your profile, My Shopping Date users are able to book your services.
Moreover, your profile will be exposed to a wide audience who may need your service.
As a subscriber of My Shopping Date, you are also open to receive further benefits such as discounts from designers and stores. We will share more developments as they occur.

To meet our users’ expectations, we will conduct a vetting process as described in our correspondence to you.

All listed stylists at My Shopping Date are independent and have varied experiences thus you can set your own price. However, we encourage you to set or define a fair price for your services to ensure you accumulate more and repeat business.

If a customer cancels 2 days before the booking, a customer will not be charged.
If a customer cancels within 48 hours of booking, we will charge the customer 50% of the amount of service booked where you will receive 35% and My Shopping Date will receive 15% to compensate and cover transaction fees.
If you reschedule a confirmed booking, we ask you to find and agree a new time slot with your customer. For your own protection, we ask you to refrain cancellations for better reputation, engagement and build trust. If you cancel a confirmed booking, we will charge you 15% of the total amount of service booked as My Shopping Date will have to manage payment back to the customer.

Once you have created a profile, the My Shopping Date team will validate your details by checking qualifications and recommendations. This process will normally take two working days and will ensure the high-quality service that our customers expect.

If you have graduated from a personal stylist course, your school, university or college should be able to provide you with a “sponsor code” to help us quickly validate your profile. Contact us if you have any further queries.

If you have just registered as a personal stylist or shopper, it is most likely that we are still checking and validating your profile. If this process is taking longer than the usual two working days, we are possibly awaiting for you to provide more information (i.e. qualifications and/or recommendations) or we have had difficulty reaching you. Please check your voicemail and spam folder so we can work with you immediately.

There may be various reasons why your account is blocked. It may be due to:
• high number of negative feedback you received
• failure to receive or take payments
Until we have reached a solution, your profile will remain hidden to users.
